Dr. Jaime Mirowsky is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Environmental
Health at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and
Forestry. Dr. Mirowsky earned her MS in 2010 and her PhD in 2013, both from the
Environmental Medicine Department at New York University. Her postdoctoral training
occurred at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was an NIEHS-
postdoctoral fellow in the Curriculum in Toxicology. She has currently authored 8 peer-
reviewed publications, of which 7 are as first-author. Her research is focused on
characterizing occupational and environmental exposures to air pollutants and non-
chemical stressors, and analyzing their physiological and toxicological impact on
humans.
