Kenneth Jaffe, MD is a physician who works at the One Health intersection of human clinical medicine, beef production, and government policy on antibiotic use in animals. A graduate of University of Buffalo School of Medicine, he is Board Certified in Family Practice and trained in Public Health at Columbia University Mailman School. He is a board member and former chair at the Center for Agricultural Development and Entrepreneurship (CADE). He is president of Slope Farms LLC which is a farm and umbrella marketing structure for NY grass fed beef producers. He launched Slope Farm to School, the first program supplying antibiotic free beef to NYC School Food, and to K-12 public schools across the state. He’s a “Clinical Champion” at Health Care Without Harm; a member of the NY State Farm to School Coordinating Committee; and has lectured at Cornell’s School of Public Health on school food procurement policy.
